This is a female patient who began experiencing a sinking sensation in her bladder and pelvic area after experiencing extreme stress about two years ago. It was more than just discomfort, it was a constant feeling of pressure in the lower part of her pelvis, and over time, the symptoms of urinary retention and frequency became more and more severe. In particular, after urinating, she felt that her urine was not cool and remained in her bladder, which caused great discomfort in her daily life.
One of this patient’s main symptoms was urgency and frequency. She had a recurring feeling of needing to go to the bathroom again immediately after urinating, and a constant sensation of a full bladder despite not actually passing much urine. She also had severe nocturia, waking up several times during the night to use the bathroom, which prevented her from getting a good night’s sleep and led to chronic fatigue.

We hope this helps others who are struggling with interstitial cystitis. Thank you.
