hello. I’m Dr. Sangchul Hwang, who researches and treats autonomic nerves. Today, I’d like to introduce you to a female patient who had great difficulties in her daily life and work due to generalized hyperhidrosis. Generalized hyperhidrosis is characterized by excessive sweating of the entire body, including the face, scalp, torso, hands, and feet, not limited to specific areas such as the hands or feet, and is a condition that can affect social life beyond mere discomfort. This patient’s sweating occurred continuously even when she was not in a particularly hot environment, and it was difficult for her to maintain her daily routine because the sweating did not stop even when she was nervous or engaged in daily activities.
You can learn more about the experience and treatment process in our patient interviews.
After treatment, I was able to return to work and get back to my normal routine and lead a normal life. I hope this helps others who suffer from hyperhidrosis, thank you.
