This is a treatment interview of a pediatric hyperhidrosis patient who sweats too much at night in all four seasons of the year. The father in the family is also prone to fever and sweating, and although he knew that his child had a fever because of his constitution, he was worried about the excessive sweating since a few years ago.
There are many pediatric patients who sweat so much at night that their bedding, such as pillows and duvets, are always soaked through. In this case, it’s not just a case of “Oh, I’m sweating a lot,” but it’s a case of dehydration due to excessive fluid loss, and subsequent immune system decline, which makes them more susceptible to viral diseases. And children who sweat a lot for a long period of time need to be treated because it affects their growth and development.
